Fundraising Assessment and Strategy
Our full fundraising assessment and plan will look at your current fundraising efforts to identify opportunities and areas for improvement. It will also identify areas that could be discontinued or re-evaluated. The assessment includes personal interviews with up to four (4) individuals from your organization as well as a review of current fundraising materials, marketing collateral, and donor and giving data. This information will be used to develop a full written fundraising plan, which will provide an entire year’s fundraising cycle with recommendations, strategies, and opportunities to create more sustainable funding for your organization.
o Deliverables:
🗸 Conduct interviews with up to 4 representatives from the organization (board, staff, alumni, parents, etc)
🗸 Review donor and giving data
🗸 Provide a detailed plan outlining the annual fundraising efforts your organization should utilize
🗸 In-person or virtual meeting to review the plan with all team members
Fundraising Plan
This option is for the newer non-profits that haven’t had much experience with fundraising yet. We will develop a full written fundraising plan, which will provide an entire year’s fundraising cycle with recommendations, strategies, and opportunities to create more sustainable funding for your organization. This plan will be customized to your non-profit to reflect your fundraising goals, while considering the capacity of the team.
o Deliverables:

🗸 In-person or virtual meeting to review the plan with all team members
Coaching
Training
We provide customized and individualized training to teams and boards of directors on everything from the basics of fundraising, relationship cultivation, the role of boards in organization sustainability, attracting and retaining fundraising staff, how executives and boards should be supporting their fundraisers, and everything in between.
The goal of our partnership is to coach you and provide guidance for your team regarding best practices and recommendations on your fundraising efforts. The coaching relationship starts with you sharing your goals and fundraising plan for the year and together determining measurables to track progress. We will serve as your accountability partner with a weekly email check-in to report on progress toward goals or share challenges. These two calls per month are customized to meet the ongoing needs of your organization, address current challenges, and provide real-time coaching as determined together.
o Deliverables:
🗸 One 90-minute session at the beginning of the coaching relationship to learn or help identify your
development goals and fundraising plan for the upcoming year
🗸 A bi-weekly 30 minute phone call with a Cultivate Coach (*Additional calls billed at an hourly coaching rate)
🗸 A weekly email to check in and assess progress toward goals (accountability partner)
🗸 Access to webinars hosted and led by Cultivate Fundraising
